Announcements
- 🌷May Pick-Up Choir: Like to sing? Join us for a pick-up choir to prepare songs for Pentecost (4/19) and Trinity Sunday (4/26). Both songs are for unison choir -- meaning, no fancy parts to learn; just the tune! Rehearsals will be at 9:15am on May 5, 12, 19, and 26. Talk to Joy Morin ([email protected]) with questions.
- 💪 Talent Festival: Join us Sunday, September 15 during coffee hour for a “Talent Festival” to welcome Pastor Andrea back after sabbatical. Do you have a unique or creative skill to share with the Holy Faith community? Examples might include (but not limited to): juggling, joke-telling, skits, poetry/readings, drama, music, or dance. From the serious to the hilarious, all talents welcome. Folks on Zoom are invited to attend and participate as well. An online sign up sheet available HERE. Questions? Email Joy Morin, Church Musician ([email protected]).
- 🔔 HF's New Bell Tree Instrument: The PLT approved the purchase of a bell tree instrument using Music Memorial funds honoring choir conductor Charles about 15 years ago. Our new Malmark "Cymbells" will add both a new dimension of sound to our worship services and new avenues of participation for those of ALL ages and abilities. If you would like to join an email list to be notified of upcoming opportunities to play the Cymbells during service, please let Joy Morin know ([email protected]). No music reading required; the Cymbells will be used for simple patterns and "random ringing" techniques as well. Thanks for considering!
- 🎶 Special Invitation: Are you interested in getting involved musically at Holy Faith? I’d love to hear your ideas and how you might like to participate vocally or instrumentally — whether it be a regular commitment or just occasional. Talk to Joy Morin or send an email at [email protected].
